In the early concept stages of GofG vol.2, our design team generated a lot of different concepts for the Ego planet. What i've done is go
back to some early works and using Model assets I built from Rhino and Zbrush, i've
developed a 3D study of the Planet Architecture. I've then developed this into an expanded environment piece with color, lighting and texture. Converting the render to a Shape tool in Photoshop allowed for further sketching for composition studies.
It's way different than the final direction we went in, but i wanted to share my process in any case. Let me know what you think !
